As a seasoned entrepreneur, my experience has taught me that trust and positive relationships are fundamental in achieving success. It's not a matter of trying to beat the other party on every front but more about completing a deal that sees both sides satisfied that they have achieved their objectives. This is crucial, as what we are talking about is effectively restructuring the ownership of the business, directly affecting the many stakeholders involved including existing employees, suppliers, customers, landlord or tenants and so on.
To this end, I basically position myself as an integral resource within your organization with the intent to help you strategize on how best to move forward. In addition to investing my time and efforts to fully understand your business and overall goals, I will:
- For Selling Clients, focus on attaining the maximum market valuation for your business and/or the Real Estate it occupies;
- For Buyer/Investor Clients, provide consultation, market data and analysis of the valuation of the potential acquisition as represented by the Seller;
- Reinforce the importance to all parties to maintain strict Confidentiality throughout the process;
- Provide guidance throughout each step that will need to be taken to complete a successful transaction including assistance with the preparation and analysis of the due-diligence Information package;
- Propose “out-of-the-box” strategies and solutions as necessary during negotiations or when dealing with challenges that may come up;
- Effectively work with other professionals involved including Legal, Accounting and third-party Representatives;
- Manage the process on your behalf from the beginning to the end including Timelines, Offers, Contracts of Purchase and Sale and any other instruments customary in similar business dealings.
